Slip back in time and experience the feeling of old Hawaiʻi on this personalized narrated tour of the beautiful Hanalei River and Hanalei Bay, the largest natural bay on Kauaʻi. Learn about Kauaʻi’s rich history, legends, folklore, and natural beauty as you explore one of the island’s most scenic locations.

This is the only river on Kauaʻi where commercial motorized boats are not allowed, offering a peaceful and authentic experience. Guests may encounter green sea turtles, snorkel among vibrant reefs filled with marine life, and enjoy a relaxing deli-style lunch on a secluded beach.

Participant Restrictions

• Participants should be in reasonable physical condition
• No recent surgeries
• Maximum weight: 225 lbs
• Children must be at least 5 years old

Location: Located after the Hanalei Dolphin Restaurant. Guests will be shuttled to the departure area and returned to the meeting location at the end of the tour.

Please note that Double/Tandem kayaks are required with all tour bookings except in the case of odd numbered groups in which a single kayak will be used.
