Start the day at an award winning coffee farm and walk on a black sand beach.
Afterward, spend the day at Volcanoes National Park for a fulfilling volcanic experience. Walk the abandoned Crater Rim Road to the new caldera overlook. Then explore the famous Chain of Craters Road which includes vistas, craters, lava flow walks, ancient petroglyphs, and sea arches. In addition to the park, explore a lava tube, see diverse vegetation, and more.
On your journey safely home, travel the heart of the island over the famous Saddle Road, with its amazing expanses and a world class sunset.

- Punalu’u Black Sand Beach (10:45 am – 11:30 am) Turtle watch at Punalu’u Beach, Hawaii’s stunning black sand beach.
- Lunch at Lava Rock Cafe (12:15 am – 1:00 pm) Enjoy a delectable lunch at Lava Rock Cafe, a sit-down restaurant where you choose from a menu of delicious options. *Some days may include alternative dining options depending on availability.
- Volcanoes National Park (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm) Explore the captivating geological history of the Volcanoes National Park and witness firsthand the mesmerizing molten lava flows and steam vents with geological insights.
- Hilo and Rainbow Falls (4:45 pm – 5:15 pm) Tour through the historic town of Hilo and experience the raw power of Rainbow Falls as part of the Wailuku River, Hawaii’s longest river.
