Know Before You Go
- Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from Kona International Airport (KOA).
- Arrive at KOA approximately 90 minutes before your scheduled flight and check in directly with the airline.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required for airline travel, and the name on your reservation must exactly match your ID.
- Pearl Harbor enforces a strict no-bag policy. Purses, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, and other bags are not permitted inside the memorial or museums. Secure bag storage is available for a fee.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes, as there is moderate walking throughout the day.
- Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a refillable water bottle.
- The USS Arizona Memorial boat program is operated by the National Park Service and U.S. Navy. Occasionally, access may be suspended due to weather, operational requirements, or limited boat availability. If this occurs, guests will still enjoy the Visitor Center exhibits and other Pearl Harbor attractions.
